About United Imaging.
The uMR Jupiter 5T is the world's first whole-body, ultra-high-field 5.0 Tesla MRI system cleared for clinical use. It brings research-grade field strength into everyday radiology, delivering the higher signal-to-noise ratio and spatial resolution of 5.0T so clinicians can visualise anatomical and functional detail that is not resolvable at 3.0T — supporting greater diagnostic confidence and more precise pre-operative planning.
Built on a 5.0T superconducting magnet, the system pairs a 120 mT/m gradient with a 200 T/m/s peak slew rate and an 8-channel volume transmit coil, extending ultra-high-field imaging beyond neuro applications to the heart, abdomen and pelvis. Despite its 5.0T performance the magnet weighs around 15 tons and shares the same siting footprint as a conventional 3.0T scanner, simplifying installation and shielding.
United Imaging's uAIFI technology adds AI-assisted acquisition and reconstruction across the platform for faster, cleaner scans and a streamlined workflow. As the regional United Imaging partner, Diavant provides factory-certified installation, applications training for radiology teams, and full warranty and post-warranty support through its local engineering team.
