Trabecular Bone Score
Medimap TBS provides a validated, grey-level texture parameter derived from the standard DXA spine image, quantifying bone microarchitecture degradation independent of BMD.
DXA-compatible Software
Compatible with major DXA systems including Hologic and GE Lunar, no additional scan required. TBS is calculated automatically from the existing lumbar spine acquisition.
Fracture Risk Improvement
Studies demonstrate that adding TBS to FRAX® significantly improves 10-year fracture risk prediction accuracy, particularly in patients with discordant clinical and BMD-based assessment.
Vertebral Fracture Assessment
Medimap Spine enables automated vertebral fracture detection and grading from the standard lateral DXA vertebral fracture assessment scan, with morphometric analysis.
Integrated Reporting
Results are automatically included in the DXA report alongside standard BMD and T-score data, providing clinicians with a comprehensive bone health assessment at no additional scan time.
